1. “Jo Zindagi Mili” is your debut book. What inspired you to begin your writing journey with this particular story?

Answer:

For me, Jo Zindagi Mili is not just a story; it is a reflection of the struggles, responsibilities, and hopes that an ordinary person experiences in life. I have seen many people around me struggling with financial problems, family responsibilities, and the pressures of life. These experiences and emotions inspired me to write this story.

2. Raghav is portrayed as an ordinary person dealing with family, dreams, responsibilities, and financial challenges. How did you develop his character?

Answer:

I wanted Raghav to feel like an ordinary person, someone we could see around us in real life. I wanted readers to look at him and feel, “This is like my own life.” So I gave his character family responsibilities, financial struggles, dreams, failures, and the courage to stand up and try again.

3. The novel gives great importance to parents and family relationships. How much did real-life observations influence these emotional aspects of the story?

Answer:

My observations of people and life around me had a strong influence on these relationships. When we are young, we often do not fully understand the sacrifices our parents make for the family. But as we grow older and take on responsibilities ourselves, we begin to understand their struggles and sacrifices more deeply. I tried to bring that emotion into the book.

4. Raghav’s journey shows how responsibilities increase as a person grows older. What did you want readers to understand about adulthood through his life?

Answer:

I wanted to show that growing up is not just about getting older. True maturity comes when a person begins to understand their responsibilities, their family, and the consequences of their decisions. Our dreams may belong to us, but sometimes we have to pay a price for those dreams while also taking care of our family.

5. Financial struggles, debt, work pressure, and the desire to build something of one’s own are important parts of the story. Why did you choose to portray these everyday realities so honestly?

Answer:

Because these are realities that many ordinary people experience in their lives. I did not want to present life as something perfect or unrealistic. I wanted the story to show life as it really is—with happiness, difficulties, money problems, debt, responsibilities, and hope. I wanted readers not just to read the story, but to feel it.

6. The book repeatedly shows Raghav facing setbacks but still finding the courage to move forward. What does perseverance mean to you personally?

Answer:

For me, perseverance means refusing to give up completely, no matter how difficult the situation becomes. Falling is a part of life, but trying to stand up again is what takes us forward. I believe failure does not mean that we should stop; sometimes it simply gives us another opportunity to try again.

7. Why did you choose the title “Jo Zindagi Mili,” and what deeper meaning does this title hold for you?

Answer:

The title Jo Zindagi Mili has a very deep meaning for me. We often keep running after the life we want, and in that process, we forget to appreciate the life we already have. The title reminds us that the life we have comes with struggles, relationships, responsibilities, and hope. We should try to make that life better rather than constantly wishing for a different one.

8. Your writing style is simple, emotional, and close to everyday life. Was it a conscious decision to keep the language accessible to a wide range of readers?

Answer:

Absolutely. I did not want readers to feel that they were reading a book written in complicated language. I wanted the story to connect directly with their hearts. That is why I tried to use simple, natural language that is close to everyday life and easy for an ordinary reader to understand.

9. Which moment or phase in Raghav’s journey was the most emotional or meaningful for you while writing the book, and why?

Answer:

There are many emotional moments in Raghav’s journey, but the moments involving family, a father’s sacrifices, and the weight of responsibility were especially meaningful to me. I believe that when we begin facing responsibilities ourselves, we truly understand the depth of our parents’ struggles. Bringing that emotion into the story was very important to me.

10. After readers finish “Jo Zindagi Mili,” what is the one thought, emotion, or message you hope stays with them for a long time?

Answer:

I want readers to look at their own lives from a new perspective after finishing the book. If someone is struggling, in debt, broken by failure, or feels that there is nothing left in life, I want them to understand that difficult times do not last forever.

My message is simple: The life we have should not be given up on; it should be made better. That is the message I hope stays with my readers.
